The adult Choir directed by Mrs. Eleanor Eilert gathers every Tuesday evening (not June thru August) at 7:00 pm in the Chapel for practice.  They sing at Mass on Sundays. All are welcome to join. You do not have to be an expert singer. You simply need a love of God and want to sing it out loud.

Apostolate of Spiritual Renewal

The Apostolate plans and executes various spiritual events at the parish like retreats, workshops, novenas, etc. The team meets monthly.

Prayer Group

The Prayer Group is a charismatic gathering of our parishioners at 30 Maple every Thursday evening at 7:30 PM giving praise and glory to God.

Filipino-American Ministry

This gathering of our Filipino Community meets every other month at the Parish Hall for fellowship and planning of its various religious celebrations, projects to perform corporal works of mercy, and parish-wide social events and fund-raising.

St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry

The St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry helps feed the hungry of Hackensack-Teaneck.  Our Food Pantry is located at the Hill House on Clinton Street behind the church.  It is usually scheduled to be open on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from 9:30 AM till 11:00 AM.

Finance Council

The Finance Council meets every two months and advises the  Pastor on financial matters of the parish.

Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council, consisting of various representatives of our various ministries and organizations and at-large representatives, share insights and collaborate on projects. They advise the Pastor on their activities and he likewise expresses his desires for the parish and what is happening in the parish.

Carnival Committee

In January, the Committee gathers to plan our largest fund raiser which culminates in a grand Carnival in late May.

El Grupo de Oracion: Los Hermanos Unidos por el Amor de Dios

Each Monday evening at seven o’clock in the Sr. Emily Walsh Parish Center (lower church), the Spanish speaking community gathers in charismatic praise and worship.  The Group sponsors many seminars and talks.


Committee of Committed Catholic (CCC) is a bible study group that has met since 2007, with the purpose of learning, sharing, and reflecting upon the Word of God.  Their weekly bible study which gathers in the Convent at 20 Pangborn also includes singing psalms of praise and offering personal prayers to God.  These encounters have helped the group mature in their faith, and form a community of faithful, truly committed in many aspects to church life. These meetings are held in Spanish. Se habla español.

The Group meets Sundays from 10:00 am-11:30 am.

El Rosario

Each Monday night at 7:00 PM, the Rosary is prayed in Spanish at the Chapel. (Gatherings are suspended for August.)

Human Concerns Apostolate

The Human Concerns Apostolate addresses the physical needs of the less fortunate in our parish and has an outreach to the needy as far away as Haiti and as near as Teaneck. The concerned meet every 2nd Monday at 7:00 PM at the Convent (20 Pangborn).
